Paul Stulac Red Screaming Sun Mr. Brown |
Paul Stulac Cigars will be introducing a shop exclusive lancero vitola to its Red Screaming Sun line. The Paul Stulac Read Screaming Sun Mr. Brown will become the fourth vitola released in the line and will be heading to Westside Humidor in Wichita, Kansas Information on this release was first reported by Cigar Jukebox on September 9th. Brand Owner Paul Stulac says he expects the cigars to ship within a week.
The cigar will be in a traditional 7 x 38 format of the Red Screaming Sun blend. The cigar features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Stulac told us this was a challenging project in that Connecticut Broadleaf is a more difficult wrapper to work on – especially in a lancero format.
Paul Stulac Cigars was founded by Paul Stulac. Stulac is the owner of Paul Stulac Smoke on the Water in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He launched his brand Paul Stulac Cigars at the 2011 IPCPR Trade Show. Stulac makes his cigars in Esteli, Nicaragua and Miami, Floria. The Red Screaming Sun line is made in Miami at the Guillermo Pena Factory.
The company currently offers a generally available 7 x 38 lancero in its White Blind Light line.
The Paul Stulac Red Screaming Sun Mr Brown is one of six cigars for Westside Humidor’s 5th Anniversary. The name Mr Brown is a tribute to Quentin Tarantino’s character of “Mr. Brown” in the motion picture “Reservoir Dogs”. Mr Brown is one of five main characters (Mr. Brown, Mr. Pink, Mr. Blonde, Mr. Blue, Mr. Orange, and Mr. White). In regards to the characters Westside Humidor General Manager Gorden Crippen commented, “It all kind of fell into place that there were 5 main characters to go with our 5 year anniversary. In the movie, the sixth guy (Mr. Blue) is killed off right after the credits, and so we decided the 6th guy for us would be that ‘one to grow on’.” A sampler pack called “The Heist” (the theme of the movie is a botched Diamond Heist) contains one of each of the cigars.

Mr. Blue – Reinado Grand Empire Reserve Ecuador Edition Petite Lancero (first release)
Mr. Brown – Paul Stulac Red Screaming Sun Lancero
