PCA 2025 Altadis
The 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show was a massive success for Altadis U.S.A. The Cigar Coop Coalition recognized Altadis U.S.A. as both Best Company and Best Booth at PCA 2025 – and there was good reason. The company presented an imposing lineup of products at the show. The products were showcased in a beautifully designed booth with stations for each of the brands. Additionally, several experiential components were part of the Altadis U.S.A. exhibit.

The centerpiece of Altadis U.S.A.’s exhibit was the 150th anniversary of the Romeo y Julieta brand.  Altadis essentially brought a “booth within a booth.”

From an experiential standpoint, there was an interactive touch-screen presentation on the history of the Romeo y Julieta brand.

There was also a coffee station and a chance to win a motor scooter.

As we will see, it wasn’t all about Romeo y Julieta, as Altadis U.S.A’s product lineup was quite compelling.

PCA 2025: Aging Room Cigars

Aging Room Cigars is a brand co-founded and co-owned by Rafael Nodal, but distributed by Altadis U.S.A. This year, the brand highlighted two releases. First, there is the third blend in the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua series, known as the Concerto. Meanwhile, Aging Room has recently reintroduced a blend called La Bohème, a brand that Nodal initially introduced last year. Both cigars are made in collaboration with AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua.

PCA 2025: H. Upmann

H. Upmann had a new limited-edition release, known as the H. Upmann by AJ Fernandez Heritage Finca Providencia. As the name indicates, AJ Fernandez produces it. This cigar is a Nicaraguan puro, and all of the tobaccos have been grown on Fernandez’s Finca Providencia farm in Nicaragua.

PCA 2025: Montecristo

The 90th anniversary of Montecristo will take place in 2025. Later this year, Altadis U.S.A. will focus on this celebration, much like they did for the 150th anniversary of Romeo y Julieta. Additionally, Montecristo recently launched a significant ultra-premium release called the Montecristo M. Produced by AJ Fernandez, the Montecristo M features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper that has been grown by A.S.P. Enterprises and is 20 years old, according to Altadis. In addition, Altadis showcased a limited-edition ceramic jar offering for its Montecristo 1935 Anniversary line. Finally, Montecristo White gets a new size in the form of a Diadema.

PCA 2025: Romeo y Julieta

As mentioned, Romeo y Julieta was center stage for Altadis U.S.A., with the focus on the brand’s 150th anniversary and the special cigar to mark the occasion. The Romeo y Julieta 150th anniversary includes tobaccos grown by key partners of Altadis U.S.A. These consist of an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper sourced from AJ Fernandez and a Mexican binder from the Turrent family. The fillers used in this product consist of Dominican tobaccos sourced from José Mendez & Co., Honduran tobaccos from the Plasencia family, and Peruvian tobacco from David Perez. Additionally, there is a Limited Edition Romeo y Julieta Humidor. This humidor is contained within an architectural unit that features an electronic system for raising and lowering it. Furthermore, keys are stored inside the exterior doors to provide access to the humidor.

In addition, Altadis also showcased the limited edition Romeo y Julieta Run for the Roses, a cigar released for the 151st edition of the Kentucky Derby

PCA 2025: Trinidad

Trinidad had a new installment of the Espiritu series with the Trinidad Espiritu Miami Edition. Produced by AJ Fernandez, the cigar pays homage to the city of Miami with an all-Nicaraguan blend.
