While last year Felipe Gregorio Cigars focused on its Costa Rican tobacco releases out of its Costa Rica factory, the focus on 2015 has been around the Dominican Republic. At the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show, the company showed off its new Felipe Gregorio Pure Dominican 2015 cigar.
The Felipe Gregorio Pure Dominican 2015 is a small batch release. It is being produced in one vitola – a 6 x 60 called “Bull”. The cigar is packaged in 50 count cabinet boxes. As for the blend, it consists of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a Dominican binder from San Vincente. The filler is all-Dominican featuring Piloto Cubano from Navarette and Criollo 98 from Cotui. The cigar is also being produced in the Dominican Republic.
The Pure Dominican 2015 joins the new Felipe Gregorio Art of Power 2015 – which is also a blend being produced in the Dominican Republic.
