Sindicato Cigars will introduce a new line that will focus on the large ring gauge craze. The Sindicato Maniac will introduce two vitolas that will feature a 7 x 70 size. On the 11/14/15 edition of Kiss My Ash Radio, company CEO and President Jim Colucci discussed the project.
Maniac will feature an Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. There will be two vitolas – a traditional 7 x 70 parejo and a 7 x 70 Gran Belicoso. These will be Sindicato Cigars first 70 ring gauge offerings. The SRP will be in the $8.00 range.
For the Maniac, Sindicato Cigars will partner for the first time with American Caribbean Cigar Factory to make the cigar. American Caribbean is run by Damian Tapanes and is best known for making known for making cigars for Gurkha, Torano, Leccia Tobacco, and its own La Rosa de Santiago brand.
Colucci indicated the Sindicato Maniac is due to hit the market in December, 2015.
Sindicato Maniac will cap off what is a busy slate of releases for the third year company. This includes the new limited edition Sindicato Miami Edition and Sindicato Maduro Corona Gorda line extension.
