Avo Cigars has announced its second installment in the Avo Syncro series – the Avo Syncro Nicaragua Fogata. The cigar is the second new line since the relaunch of the Avo brand in 2015. It is also the second regular production line to showcase Nicaraguan tobacco in the brand joining 2015’s Avo Syncro Nicaragua. Plans are for the new Avo Syncro Fogata to begin shipping to retailers on June 27, 2016 and will launch globally late next year.
The blend for the Avo Syncro Nicaragua Fogata features an Ecuadorian Habano 2000 Clara wrapper, and a San Andres Negro binder. The filler consists of tobaccos from Esteli and Condega, Nicaragua; as well as San Vincente and Yamasa tobacco from the Dominican Republic. While the original Avo Syncro Nicaragua used filler tobacco from the island of Ometepe to deliver a combination of sweet and spicy notes, the new Avo Syncro Fogata brings in to tobaccos from the mountainous, rugged regions of Esteli and Condega to capture a combination of strength and spice.
The new Fogata will be available in four sizes, each packaged in 20 count boxes
“AVO Syncro Nicaragua Fogata delivers new frontiers in cigar experiences. Pulsing with the rhythm of Nicaragua’s more intense Esteli and Condega tobaccos and composed with the softer, creamier notes of our Dominican grown tobacco, aficionados will savor every note and be delighted by the fusion of wild complexity blended with unprecedented harmony.” commented Charles Awad, Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Innovation in a press release.
“Fogata, meaning Bonfire or Campfire in Spanish, was a great inspiration for this new cigar, it is one of my favorite settings to share unforgettable and intimate moments with my closest of friends. With Syncro Nicaragua Fogata, we went off the beaten path in search of more intense taste experiences and are proud to now share with you this vibrant new blend in our portfolio,” added brand founder Avo Uvezian.

Just picked up the Avo Nicaragua and the Avo Nicaragua Fogata. Also some Crowned Heads cigars, love that Crowned Heads is in my home state of Tennessee. Also our politicians so far do not try to tax us to death for smoking cigars.
