GTO Dominican Cigars has a new release planned for July called Trankilo. The new release will feature two 100% Dominican blends, a corojo and a maduro packaged in the same box.
Oscar Rodriguez, company owner and founder informed Cigar Coop that Trankilo features a five year old aged blend available in one size, a 6 x 44 Corona. The cigars will be packaged in 24 count boxes, consisting of 12 Corojo Cigar and 12 Maduro Cigars. Rodriguez described Trankilo as a medium + strength, full-bodied offering. Pricing is expected to $7.00 or under.
GTO Dominican Cigars is a vertically integrated operation. Rodriguez has his own factory in the Dominican Republic as well as his own farms. In fact, all of the tobaccos used in Trankilo come from Rodriguez’s family farm in the Dominican Republic.
This is the second release for Rodriguez and GTO Dominican Cigars. Earlier this year, Rodriguez released Don Emilio, a cigar that is a tribute to his late father.

GTO is a great smoke. I like the Pain Killer and I’m sure this will be phenomenal as well. I can’t wait to try them.

Oscar is a great guy and one of the hardest working in the biz. Along with the pain killer must try his new box press corojo.
