At the 2016 IPCPR Trade Show, J.C. Newman Cigar Company launched a maduro counterpart to its Perla del Mar line – appropriately titled the Perla del Mar Maduro.
It was at the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show when J.C. Newman launched the first Perla del Mar blend, which introduced a box-pressed Connecticut Shade offering into the company’s portfolio. The Perla del Mar Maduro still features a similar Nicaraguan binder and filler, but replaces the Connecticut Shade wrapper with a Connecticut Broadleaf offering. The Perla del Mar line is offered in four sizes.
At a glance, here is a look at the Perla del Mar Maduro line by J.C. Newman:

Can’t wait to give these a shot. The waiting is hardest part as as Tom Petty would say! However, my wait is almost up. And soon I will be able to fire up 1 of these bad boys. The wrapper & construction are just as we’ve come to expect from perla del mar(perfect). A tight box press with amost no veins or toothy feelings * a seamless wrap. But the aroma, may actually take your mind places of fond memories! & I’ve yet to light one! But lets be honest, a maduro wrapper never hurts anything. & I can’t wait to see what Newman has done to this already amazing stick.
