On February 26, 2016 Rocky Patel turned 55 years old and at this year’s IPCPR a special cigar was launched by Rocky Patel Premium Cigars to commemorate the occasion – the Rocky Patel Fifty-Five.
The Rocky Patel Fifty-Five has two characteristics. First up, it’s a line where each of the four vitolas have a 55 ring gauge. Second, each of the cigars are tapered at the head and footer having a slight perfecto-like quality.
The blend features a Nicaraguan wrapper over a Costa Rican binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigars are dubbed as part of the “Artesian Series” and are made at the company’s TaviCusa factory in Esteli, Nicaragua.
