Southern Draw Cigars has announced it is expanding its private label program. Currently the program supports 25 unique retail locations. The company has stated it has registered several available blends and sizes and will file for substantial equivalence as required by the FDA.
Southern Draw says these are not pre-made bundled cigars or factory seconds, but rather hand-crafted boutique cigars. These are intended to complement a retailer’s current Southern Draw Cigars portfolio, but provide retailers a higher margin and landed product.
The available blends for retailers include:
Connecticut – Ecuador
Habano – Ecuador
San Andres – Mexico
Sumatra – Indonesia
Piloto – Ecuador and Dominican Republic
The available sizes include (Each available in 20 count boxes and bundles
Robusto: 5 x 50
Toro: 6 x 50
Churchill: 7 x 50
Gordo: 6 x 60
Lancero: 7 x 38
Belicoso: 5 1/2 x 50
As a part of the program Southern Draw Cigars will provide support to the design of the bands, boxes, blends and sizes – or simply provide selected cigars in bundles. The company says options will change as the FDA Deeming Regulations are clarified and / or amended.
