At this year’s 2016 IPCPR Trade Show, PDR Cigars launched the Flores y Rodriguez Connecticut Valley Reserve line Azul. This cigar becomes the second blend to be released in the ultra-premium Connecticut Valley Reserve line.
Last year the company launched the Flores y Rodriguez Connecticut Valley Reserve Maduro. The cigar was highlighted by a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. The Azul features a Connecticut Broadleaf Rosado wrapper. The remainder of the blend consists of a Jalapa binder and a combination of Dominican Corojo and Condega Criollo.
The cigars are offered in the same four vitolas as the Connecticut Valley Reserve Maduro: Robusto, Belicoso, Gran Toro, and Figurado.
The Flores y Rodriguez Connecticut Valley Reserve Azul is also available in the same two packaging options – namely the 15 count wooden boxes or the 19 count limited edition ceramic jars.
At a glance, here is a look at the Flores y Rodriguez Connecticut Valley Reserve Azul:
