Just prior to the 2017 IPCPR Trade Show, Drew Estate announced the addition of various “Coronet” (4 x 32) vitolas across its brands packaged in tins. Recently, two Coronet releases under the Liga Privada brand arrived at Drew Diplomat retailers – the Liga Privada No. 9 Coronet and the Liga Privada T52 Coronet.

According to Drew Estate, the cigars are mixed fillers from the tobaccos used for Liga Privada.  The wrappers used for the Liga Privada Coronets are smaller cuts from the same leaf used for the core Liga Privada No. 9 (Connecticut Broadleaf) and Liga Privada T52 (Stalk Cut U.S. Habano). The cigars have an MSRP of $25.00 per ten-count tin or a $125.00 for a 50-count sleeve.

The tins are meant to be packaged in the Drew Diplomat Water Tower displays at local brick & mortar Drew Diplomat retailers.

 

In a press release, Jonathan Drew illuminated, “Over the past ten years, we have stashed an incredible supply of No.9 & T52 scrap-cut tobaccos during the manufacturing process for larger format vitolas, such as LP toros, robustos, and Feral Flying Pigs. Our goal today is to build upon what we have accomplished with the Papas Fritas, but this time in an even more convenient travel size, 4 x 32.
