While Isla de Sol has been a longtime staple of the Drew Estate portfolio, at the 2018 IPCPR it will go center stage. Today the company announced the national release of the Isla de Sol Maduro, as well as a Gordito size to the original Isla de Sol which is now the Isla del Sol Sun Grown.
The Isla de Sol Maduro features a maduro wrapper garnished with a sweetened cap. It will be available in four sizes each packaged in ten-count boxes. The sizes include: Robusto (5 x 52, MSRP $50/box); Toro (6 x 52, MSRP $54.00/box); Gran Corona (5 x 44, MSRP $46/box), and Churchill (7 x 50, MSRP $58.00).
Meanwhile, the current Sumatra-wrapped Isla del Sol is now being rebranded as Isla del Sol Sun Grown. The 6 x 60 becomes the fifth size in the Sun Grown line joining the Robusto, Toro, Gran Corona, and Churchill sizes. While the four existing sizes will remain in twenty-count boxes, the Gordito will be packaged in sixteen count boxes. Pricing for the Isla del Sol Gordito is set at $91.52.
Drew Estate expects to ship the new Isla del Sol offerings in September.
