At the 2019 IPCPR Trade Show, Cubariqueño Cigar Company will launch the Protocol Sir Robert Peel. It’s not only a new two-blend line for Cubariqueño, but also a line that offers a very classic look for the four-year-old cigar company.
The name Sir Robert Peel ties into company founders Juan Cancel and Bill Ives‘ ties to law enforcement. Sir Robert Peel is considered to be the father of the modern-day police force. It was in 1829 when Peel established the London Metropolitan Police Force. That year adorns the Sir Robert Peel cigar bands.
Protocol Sir Robert Peel will be available in both a natural and maduro offering. The first blend features a Ecuadorian Rosado wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler. Meanwhile, the Sir Robert Peel Maduro features the same blend but with a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper. Both cigars will be available in one size – a 6 x 52 box-press Toro. Pricing is set at $119.50 per box. Production is handled at Cubariqueño’s longtime manufacturing partner, Erik Espinosa’s La Zona factory in Nicaragua.
“We left no stone unturned for this release. Both cigars are smoking phenomenal and we took the packing up to the next level,” stated Juan Cancel in a press release.
The 2019 IPCPR Trade Show opens June 29th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
