The past year has seen James Brown of Black Label Trading Company develop a portfolio of brands that are produced in his factory. Today it was announced that that portfolio of brands would have a new name, Oveja Negra Brands.
Oveja Negra Brands will consist of Black Label Trading Company, Black Works Studio, Emilio Cigars, and Dissident Cigars. Black Label Trading Company and Black Works Studio are brands owned and founded by Brown. Emilio Cigars recently merged its operations with James Brown. Dissident is a brand owned by Benjamin Holt. For the most part, all of the brands will have production out of Brown’s factory and have common distribution through L.J. Zucca Distribution Company.
Previously these brands were represented by the Boutiques Unified umbrella, which essentially has now folded into Oveja Negra Brands.
The four brands will be in the same booth when the 2019 IPCPR Trade Show opens in Las Vegas on June 29th.
