2018 saw a very busy year for My Father Cigars as the company celebrated its tenth anniversary and it also celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Don Pepin Garcia brand. This year, I expected it to be somewhat dialed back. In general, My Father Cigars isn’t known to put out a lot of releases and 2019 saw only one new line added – My Father La Promesa.

The presentation at the My Father Cigars booth is always exquisite and 2019 was no exception. The company went all out to showcase the cigars in the best light.

As for La Promesa, its the seventh regular production blend under the My Father cigar brand. It utilizes an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper over Nicaragua binder and filler. Priced between $7.80 and $10.00, La Promesa is available in five sizes: Petite (4 1/2 x 50), Corona Gorda (5 1/2 x 49), Robusto Grande ( 5 1/2 x 54), Toro (6 x 52), and Lancero (7 1/2 x 38).

My Father Cigars immediately starting shipping La Promesa after the 2019 IPCPR Trade Show.
