It’s hard to believe we are talking about a 10 year anniversary for La Sirena Cigars, but that’s exactly what milestone the company is celebrating. La Sirena Cigars was founded by Arielle Ditkowich in 2009, and has been a family run operation since then as Arielle’s parents and sisters have all been involved with the company.

This year, Arielle’s father Danny has worked to create a special cigar to celebrate the milestone called the La Sirena Aniversario Especial. Overs the year La Sirena has worked with factories in Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. For this cigar, Danny turned to the country of Mexico and worked with the  Nueva Matacapan de Tabacos S.A. factory owned by the Turrent family.

The La Sirena Aniversario Especial consists of a 10-year-old Mexican San Andres Negro wrapper, a Mexican Criollo ’98 binder, and fillers from Mexico, Brazil, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. The cigar comes in one size a 5 3/4 x 54 soft box press presented in 10-count boxes. It’s La Sirena’s most premium cigar to date. Pricing is set at $19.00 SRP.

We also caught up with Danny Ditkowich at this year’s Trade Show and discussed the La Sirena Aniversario Especial.
