Next month, AVO Cigars will release its annual limited edition cigar for 2020. The cigar will once again be a part of the brand’s AVO Improvisation Series and is appropriately titled the AVO Improvisation LE20.
The cigar is the seventh release under the AVO Improvisation Series. Since 2015, each of the brand’s limited edition releases has been under the Improvisation Series. This is the 20th consecutive year there has been an annual limited edition release.
The AVO Improvisation LE20 is highlighted by an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Dominican Semilla 150 binder, and an all-Dominican filler. The LE20 comes in one size – a 6 1/2 x 50 Toro. It’s packaged in 14-count boxes with a total release of 4,400 boxes worldwide and 2,500 of them slated for the U.S. market. Pricing is set at $16.00 SRP.
Packaging-wise, the box will feature a smoke grey acrylic glass outer shell that covers two cedar trays.
The concept behind this series is to draw inspirations from previous AVO releases to create a whole new cigar. Details of what the LE20 was improvised from was not disclosed.
The AVO Improvisation LE20 is slated for a March 2020 release. As with most of the AVO annual limited releases, it is meant to coincide with the late Avo Uvezian’s birthday on March 22nd.
