Epic Cigars and Nat Cicco Cigars are joining forces with the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation. The goal is to help with the foundation’s efforts to impact underserved kids nationwide.
Epic Cigar founder Dean Parsons gained an understanding of the foundation’s work nationwide and wanted to help. Parsons offered to support the fundraising efforts through the donation of his cigars. In partnership with Epic Cigars, Nat Cicco saw the impact of Ripken Foundation’s work and offered their support as well.
“Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. is doing vital work for young people in need across the country and when Epic was looking for partners in the non-profit space the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation felt like the perfect fit and the relationship continues to blossom”, said Dean Parsons in a press release.
Steve Salem, President of the Ripken Foundation added, “Our events have garnered a reputation for the best events around with the experiences we provide being second to none. That is only possible with caring and generous partners like Dean and the Epic Cigars team. He has gone above and beyond to support our mission and help us raise the dollars needed to impact over one million kids each year.”
“We’re extremely proud of the work the Ripken Foundation has accomplished throughout the years and look forward to our joint collaboration,” said Arthur Berberian, president at Zander-Greg, Inc. “Cal’s vision and the values set forth through his foundation motivated us to partner our Nat Cicco and EPIC cigar brands with his team. We look forward to assist the foundation in advancing their benevolence.”
