At the 2021 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, La Aurora Cigars introduced a new limited edition offering under its Fernando León brand, appropriately titled Fernando León Edición Limitada.
Fernando León was the father of La Aurora owner Guillermo León. In 2012, the Fernando León Family Reserve line was released in his honor. The Fernando León Edición Limitada is a completely different blend than the Family Reserve and I highlighted by an extra-aged Dominican-grown Corojo wrapper. The blend features an Ecuadorian binder and fillers from Peru, Nicaragua, and the Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic.
The Fernando León Edición Limitada will be available in one size – a 6 1/4 x 52 Belicoso. The cigars will be presented in ten-count boxes with production limited to 150 boxes for the U.S. market. Pricing is set at $28.00 per cigar.
The Fernando León Edición Limitada is expected to ship in September.
