Serino Cigar Company has announced that it has formally added The Expat line to its regular portfolio offerings. The Expat saw a limited, soft-launch earlier this year.
The Expat consists of an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and a combination of Nicaragua and Pennsylvania fillers. It is offered in three sizes: Corona Gorda (6 x 46, SRP $5.35), Passport (5 7/8 x 50, SRP $5.50), and Sublime (6 1/2 x 54, SRP $5.75). Each cigar features a pigtail cap and shaggy foot. The cigars are packaged in ten-count bundles.
In a press release, Serino Cigar Company President, Anthony Serino commented, “We are proud to add The Expat to the Serino Cigar Co. portfolio. We’ve long-awaited the opportunity to add a brand like The Expat to the Serino Cigar line-up. We believe this blend offers tremendous value to our customers while maintaining the ultra-premium quality that is the Serino standard.
“The naming of the blend comes from the story of how the cigar came about. Originally, the cigar was made for a close family friends’ foreign destination wedding. We used ‘The Passport’ vitola as the size for the venue. After the tremendously positive response from the celebration, we decided to recapture the magic by making the cigar a full production line for Serino Cigar Co.”
