Cigar News: Drew Estate to Launch ACID 20 Connecticut Toro at TPE 2022

At Tobacco Plus Expo 2022 (TPE 2022), Drew Estate will launch the ACID 20 Connecticut Toro. As the name indicates it’s a Connecticut Shade version of the ACID 20. The cigar was announced January 20th on Drew Estate’s Freestyle Live show.

The Toro size measures 6 x 54, but it is not the first Connecticut Shade cigar under the ACID 20 brand. Last year, Drew Estate released the ACID 20 Bronxilla, a 5 x 54 Connecticut Shade ACID 20. The Bronxilla was a release for Alliance Cigar. The Toro will be a national release that is available to retailers through Drew Estate.

The ACID 20 Connecticut features a Connecticut Shade wrapper, Indonesian binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigars are packaged in 20-count boxes with pricing set at $10.75 per cigar.

Drew Estate is partnering with Cigars Direct for an online launch event scheduled for Feb. 3 beginning at 7 p.m. Eastern. The event will be broadcast live on Cigars Direct’s Facebook page at facebook.com/Cigarsdirect.fan.

TPE 2022 runs from January 26 and January 28, 2022. The cigars are expected to ship after the completion of TPE.
