Tatuaje has announced two limited edition cigars that will be sold exclusively to members in two trade associations. One will be an exclusive offering to the Tobacconists Association of America (TAA) and the other will be an exclusive offering for those who attend the 2022 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show.

The Tatuaje TAA 2022 will be a part of the 2022 TAA Exclusive Series limited edition offerings. The TAA Exclusive Series consists of cigars made by leading manufacturers that are exclusively sold at TAA member retailers. There are both one time limited edition and ongoing releases that are a part of this series. For Tatuaje, it has a long history of producing releases for the TAA dating back to 2011. Tatuaje has done a release for the TAA each year with the exception of 2021.

The Tatuaje PCA 2022 is a 5 3/8 x 52 box-pressed vitola consisting of a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, double Nicaraguan binder, and all-Nicaraguan fillers. This marks a return to Tatuaje using Broadleaf for its TAA releases. From 2011 to 2018, seven of the first eight Tatuaje TAA cigars used a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.

Meanwhile the Tatuaje PCA 2022 release will also be a 5 3/8 x 52 box-pressed vitola. The difference is the Tatuaje PCA 2022 will use an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. The remainder of the blend consists of double Nicaraguan binder and alll-Nicaraguan fillers. Both cigars are produced at the My Father Cigars factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Both cigars will be presented in 20-count boxes with a total allocation of 1,000 boxes. Pricing is set at $14.50 per cigar. 50 cents from the proceeds of the Tatuaje TAA 2022 will go to the TAA while 50 cents from the proceeds of the Tatuaje PCA 2022 will go to the PCA.
