Gran Habano has announced its first new release for 2022. It’s an extension to the Persian King line known as the Persian King Type-Mod 60.

The Persian King Type-Mod 60 is a 6 x 60 figurado-style cigar. On one end it is pyramid styled and on the other end it has a slight taper. Remarkably, the cigar is designed to be smoked from either end. The genesis for this project came at a time during the COVID-19 pandemic when many operations were shut down, giving Gran Habano’s George Rico time to work on some creative projects.

Blend-wise, the Persian King Type-Mod 60 features 100% Nicaraguan tobaccos grown from Gran Habano’s Nicaraguan farms. The cigars will be sold in 50-count boxes and will be priced at $7.60. Production comes from GR Tabacaleras Unidas SA in Danlí, Honduras.

The Persian King Type-Mod 60 is scheduled to ship by the end of May.
