Cigar News: Forged Cigar Company Releases Los Statos Deluxe

Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) has announced its Los Status Deluxe line has gotten a makeover. The makeover was done by Matt Booth, Justin Andrews, and STG’s Honduran Blending Team. The revamped Los Status Deluxe line will now join the Forged Cigar Company portfolio. Los Status Deluxe made an appearance at the 2022 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show. While STG was not in attendance at the show, Los Status Deluxe was showcased at the Room101 booth.

Los Status Deluxe features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaragua binder and a combination of proprietary Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. The cigars are available in three sizes: Robusto, Toro, Gigante, and Churchill. Each is presented in 20-count boxes.

“When we decided two years ago to revamp Los Statos Deluxe, we opted to work with Matt Booth, to tap his creativity. This collaboration was fortuitous because we’re now presenting the new Los Statos Deluxe as our first release with Matt as a member of our team. We’ve ultimately taken a great brand and breathed new life into it by calling on modern imagery and a provocative blend that transitions as the smoke progresses. We believe we have all the elements in play to make Los Statos Deluxe a brand that everyone will be talking about this summer and beyond,” commented Matt Wilson, senior brand manager for Los Status Deluxe, in a press release.
