Gordo was the size of the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) for JRE Tobacco. In addition to a Gordo size being unveiled for the new Aladino Classic line,  JRE Tobacco added Gordo line extensions to the Aladino Cameroon and Aladino Connecticut lines. The new Aladino Connecticut Gordo becomes the fifth vitola in the line.

The wrapper of the Aladino Connecticut is Ecuadorian-grown Connecticut Shade. The remainder of the blend consists of Honduran tobaccos from the JRE Tobacco farm. Production is handled out of Julio R. Eiroa’s Fabrica de Puros Aladino S.A. facility in Honduras. The Gordo is a beefy 60 x 6 1/2 vitola that is packaged in 10-count boxes.

The Gordo size is the first line extension to the Aladino Connecticut line since it was introduced in 2019.
