At the 2022 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Illusione Cigars showcased a revamped Singularé line. Dubbed Illusione Singularé Origen, the cigar will be a regular production offering in the Illusione portfolio, and in the spirit of the brand’s overhaul in packaging, it gets an all-new look.
Illusione Singularé was released as a single blend, single vitola, limited-edition cigar in 2010 with the Illusione Singularé Phantom. On a near-annual basis, a different blend and different size was unveiled. In 2016, some of the Illusione Singularé releases were brought back for ongoing limited productions. For the Illusioné Singularé Origen, owner and blender Dion Giolito has “unified the spirit” of the Singularé blends and has created an single blend across several sizes. It’s a Nicaraguan puro that will come in four sizes: Robusto, Gordo, Corona Gorda, and Churchill. Each size will be presented in 15-count boxes.
The white and silver bands with gothic lettering have been replaced by bolder blue and white bands that are also incorporated into the box vistas. The owl design pays homage to the Egyptian Owl of Pharaoh Ramses II. According to ancient folklore, this owl is said to have smacked Ramses II with its wing.
The revamped Illusione Singularé Origen is expected to ship later this year.
