At the 2022 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show, La Palina Cigars showcased a new look and a new blend for its La Palina Nicaragua line. It’s a line from La Palina that consists of 100% Nicaraguan puros.

It was at the 2016 IPCPR Trade Show that La Palina first introduced the La Palina Nicaragua. It was a pair of blends consisting of a Connecticut Shade wrapped blend and a Oscuro blend. Both of these blends were produced by AJ Fernandez’s family in Nicaragua.

For 2022, both blends move to a new factory and have had their blends slightly revamped. La Palina Nicaragua – The Connecticut consists of a Nicaraguan-grown Connecticut Shade wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler.

Meanwhile, La Palina Nicaragua – The Oscuro features a Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler.

Both blends come in three sizes: Robusto, Toro, and Gordo – each presented in 20-count boxes. In addition, both cigars have received a new band design as well as a new box design.
