At the 2021 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Tatuaje Cigars showcased a new entry into its Cojonu series, the Tatuaje Cojonu 2015.
For the most part, the main installment Tatuaje Cojonu Series has seen branding on a three-year cycle. There has been a Cojonu 2003, Cojonu 2006, Cojonu 2009, Cojonu 2012 (Habano, Reserva, Capa Especial). After 2012, new releases went on hiatus until 2021 when Tatuaje unveiled the Tatuaje Cojonu 2021. Now Tatuaje owner Pete Johnson is going back and appears to be filling the missing years in the series – starting with the Cojonu 2015.
The Cojonu 2015 is a Nicaraguan puro that comes in one size – a 5 x 55 Robusto. The cigars will be packaged in 21-count cabinet boxes.
No word on when there will be a Cojonu 2018 to complete the missing years.
