Two Guys Smoke Shop owner David Garofalo has announced he will be launching a grand scale multi-vendor event known as the New England Cigar Expo. The event will be a two-day festival scheduled for September 29-30, 2023 at the Crossing Life Church and Community Church Dreamers Ranch in Windham, New Hampshire.

The genesis of the event is a lemons to lemonade story. For many years, Garofalo has held an annual anniversary party for Two Guys Smoke Shop. The has been a gala event that has involved an elegant sit down dinner and a game show-like element where prizes such as automobiles, RVs, trips, and even a tanker of gasoline are given. Following the 37th anniversary party that took place last September, Garofalo was informed that the venue where the gala was being held would no longer allow cigar smoking. Finding a venue for an event of this scale that will allow cigar smoking has been an increased challenge. At this point, Garofalo was almost resolved that his annual anniversary party would be no more. Dan Davidson, who recently joined United Cigars as Director of Marketing stepped in and encouraged Garofalo to not give up. After some searching, the Dreamers Ranch was found. The venue would not only host dinner, but give Garofalo the option of expanding the event. Thus the New England Cigar Expo was formed.

Dreamers Ranch is a working farm and cattle ranch where agricultural skills are taught. Located 30 miles north of Boston, it includes what is said to be the largest tent in New Hampshire. Garofalo says the event will help promote and raise awareness and support for the Dreamers Ranch.

The two-day cigar event kicks off on Friday evening with a focus on the sit-down plated Prime Rib dinner. Garofalo prefers the experience of a sit-down dinner as opposed to having people stand in line for a buffet to allow folks to enjoy company and cigar smoke. There will be music and entertainment. The game show component remains and this year the beef from a butchered and packaged (full) cow is being given away.

Day two will feature a multi-vendor herf featuring leading manufacturers and cigar industry personalities. The cigars will be provided upon entrance to the event to minimize people waiting in line to obtain cigars. There will also be a food truck pavilion as well as booths offering spirits. Additional cigars will be available for purchase. Later in the afternoon, ticket holders will be able to attend a Micro Wrestling event and watch a live episode of Garofalo’s The Cigar Authority podcast.

There will be three options: a standard two-day package ($395.00 per person), a VIP two-day package ($595.00 per person), or a one-day package ($225.00 per person) for Saturday. The two-day pass holders will get 38 premium cigars, while the Saturday one-day package holders get 20 premium cigars. VIP holders will get early entry to both days of the event, priority seating for the Micro Wrestling event, and access to an after-hours party.

Garofolo also said a cigar is being developed exclusively for the New England Cigar Expo event attendees.
