Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) has announced it has added a Toro and Torpedo size to its Diesel Disciple line. The two new sizes join the lancero vitola that is currently available.
Diesel Disciple first made its debut in 2021 as a part of the 2021 Tobacconists Association of America (TAA) Exclusive Series in a 7 x 38 lancero format. Last year, the lancero was brought back as a regular production offering. The blend consists of a Mexican San Andres wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan Habano fillers from Estelí. The new Toro size measures 6 1/4 x 52 and is priced at $9.99 SRP per cigar. Meanwhile, the new Torpedo size measures 6 1/2 x 54 and is priced at $10.49 per cigar. Both are presented in ten-count boxes. Distribution for Diesel Disciple is handled by Forged Cigar Company.
“We decided to launch two new sizes of Diesel Disciple this year because the blend has gotten such a strong endorsement from the retail community,” said Justin Andrews in a press release. “We’re looking forward to rolling out the new formats and will continue to expand the line according to demand from retailers and cigar smokers.”
The new sizes will begin shipping this week.
