ZR Cigars has announced it is adding a Nicaraguan puro to its portfolio. The cigar is called ZR Nicaragua, and it is targeted for a December 15, 2023 release.

The company describes ZR Nicaragua as, “A full bodied cigar from start to finish. Flavor and complexity instantly hit your palate with flavors and aromas of spice, pepper, cedar and expresso. A delightful cigar to enjoy after a nice meal.”

ZR Nicaragua consists of Habana Oscuro wrapper grown in the Jalapa region of Nicaragua over all Nicaraguan tobaccos. The company lists four sizes on its website: Robusto (5 x 52), Toro (6 x 52), Gran Toro (6 x 60), and Churchill (7 x 52). ZR Cigars has said it will be available in three or four sizes around the planned December ship date.

ZR Cigars was founded in 2018 by Zohar Riezman and Master Blender Candido Rosario. The company produces its cigars at its own factory in the Dominican Republic. It is anticipated the ZR Nicaragua will be showcased at the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show in Las Vegas in July.
