Room101 is adding a 7 x 70 offering under its Big Payback line. Dubbed the Room101 Big Payback 70s, it marks a return to the Big Payback line for the first time since 2016. The difference is the Big Payback 70s is getting its own unique blend. The Big Payback 70s is expected to arrive on retail shelves in June.

The Big Payback brand was created by Matt Booth to repay consumers for their years of support with a premium offering at a monster value price point. After splitting from Davidoff at the end of 2016, Booth has brought back the Payback blend but this is the first time there has been a 7 x 70 offering since then.

In a press release, Matt Booth commented “It has been my life’s mission to produce a combustible vessel so engorged and far more magnificent than its standard counterpart in cylindrical presentation, and it’s my greatest honor to offer our people such a product that overflows with both girth and grandeur.”

The blend is highlighted by a Honduran Olancho San Agustin over a U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a combination of Nicaraguan, Honduran, and Dominican fillers. The 7 x 70 offering will be presented in 30-count boxes priced at $8.99 per cigar. Production comes from Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s HATSA factory in Honduras.

Room101 Big Payback is distributed by Forged Cigar Company and will ship to retailers on June 1, 2023.
