On February 14, 2023, Miami Cigar & Company President Nestor Miranda turned 80 years young. This year, Miami Cigar & Company will celebrate his birthday with the release of the NM80 cigar brand. The release of the NM80 will coincide with an invitation-only event celebrating his birthday at Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge at Resorts World on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 8:00 PM.

Jason Wood, Vice President of Miami Cigar and Nestor’s son-in-law teamed up with My Father Cigar and created the blend in secret, only recently presenting it to Nestor. The cigar is a Nicaraguan puro that was blended with Nestor’s palate in mind. It also is being released in three of Nestor’s favorite sizes that have been seen in his brand over the years: Ruky (5 5/8 x 48-52, Figurado- $18.00 MSRP/cigar), Lancero (7 1/2 x 38 – $19.00 MSRP/cigar), and Danno (7 x 56 –$20.00 MSRP/cigar). Production is limited to 500 ten-count boxes of the three sizes.

In a press release, Jason Wood said: “I really wanted to create a cigar that Nestor could be proud of. The entire project was tailor-made for Nestor, vitolas, blend and packaging all have that Miranda elegance that makes him the man that we all love.

“2023 is truly a special year for the company and for me personally. I look forward to celebrating with my friends, colleagues, and customers!” added Nestor.

The 2023 PCA Trade Show opens July 7, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
