At the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Oliva Cigar Company will make available a size of Oliva Serie V Melanio line known as the Figuriño. It’s a release also being dubbed Edición Año 2023 by Oliva Cigar Company.

The Figuriño is a 5 1/2 x 54 perfecto with two tapered ends and plump in the center. The size was created by Frederik Vandermarliere, owner of Oliva’s parent company, Vandermarliere Family of Cigars. It’s not the first time the Figuriño has been released by Oliva. The Figuriño has seen a release before as a part of a limited edition Elie Bleu Humidor offering.

Another distinguishing piece about the Oliva Serie V Melanio Figurińo is that it is a rounded vitola. For the most part, the Serie V Melanio line has been a box-pressed offering, but there have been some limited offshoots that have been rounded.

As for the blend, it is consistent with the rest of the Oliva Serie V Melanio line as it features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. The cigars will be presented in ten-count boxes with a projected production of 14,500 boxes. Pricing is set at $20.00 per cigar.

The PCA Trade Show opens July 7, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
