Leaf by Oscar is celebrating its tenth anniversary. At the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co will showcase a new addition to the Leaf by Oscar line to mark the milestone, the Leaf by Oscar 10th Anniversary Criollo.
The cigar is a Honduran puro and, as the name indicates, it features a Criollo wrapper from the Copan region of Honduras. The Leaf by Oscar 10th anniversary Criollo is available in two sizes: Toro (6 x 52) and Sixty (6 x 60). Each is presented in 20-count boxes.
Leaf by Oscar is a brand that was created for Jim Robinson. Originally the Leaf by Oscar was a house cigar for Robinson’s Leaf and Bean stores, but the popularity led to Robinson taking the brand national. For many years, Robinson has operated Leaf by Oscar separately, however now according to Robinson that has changed. Robinson said recently on the Simply Stogies podcast that the process to merge his operations into Oscar Valladares’ operations has begun. Robinson is still planning on staying involved, but he says “it’s time for me to let Oscar run the show.” Island Jim is another Jim Robinson brand that was merged into the Oscar Valladares portfolio as well.
Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co. says pricing is still to be determined.
The PCA Trade Show opens July 7 in Las Vegas.
