South Florida based-retailer Gotham Cigars has launched Flatbush Cigar Company. As a part of the launch, there are three cigar blends being introduced. It’s a brand that will be sold by Gotham Cigars but also be offered wholesale to retailers.

What led to the start of Gotham Cigars was the outcome of a meeting over rum and cigars in the Flatbush area of Brooklyn over 20 years ago. The cigars in the Flatbush Cigar Company’s different series are said to be a direct reflection of the hardworking iconic area in Central Brooklyn known as Flatbush.

The three cigar blends being introduced are: Yellow Cab (featuring an Ecuadorian Connecticut Wrapper), The Doorman (featuring an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper), and Stoop 526 (featuring a San Andres Maduro Wrapper). All three blends incorporate a Nicaraguan Habano binder and a combination of Nicaraguan tobaccos from Condega and Jalapa. The three blends are offered in three sizes: Toro, Gordo, and Churchill – each packaged in ten-count bundles. Production comes from Best Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Suggested retail pricing ranges from $48.99 to $50.99 per ten-count bundle depending on the blend and size.
