At the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Gran Habano Cigars introduced a new value-priced cigar known as the G.A.R. American Standard.

The idea behind G.A.R. American Standard is to introduce an affordable cigar without sacrificing quality. In this case, the G.A.R. American Standard is a Nicaraguan puro that is available in five sizes: Robusto (5 x 50, SRP $5.50/cigar), Gran Robusto (6 x 54, SRP $6.00/cigar), Imperial (6 x 60, SRP $6.40/cigar), Czar (6 x 66, SRP $6.80/cigar), and Grandiose (7 x 70, SRP $7.00/cigar). Each is presented in 50-count boxes.

Gran Habano expects to produce 750,000 cigars a year (or 15,000 50-count boxes). The G.A.R. American Standard will be a regular production offering.  The cigars are targeted to arrive on retail shelves in September.
