This week, the Cigar Association of America (CAA) announced that Miami Cigar & Company has joined its organization as a distributor member.
Miami Cigar & Company was founded in 1989. The company is owned by Nestor and Mariana Miranda. It is best known for distributing its Tatiana, Nestor Miranda, and Don Lino brands.
“Miami Cigar & Company is an exceptional family-owned, mid-sized cigar company, and we are proud to represent them and its portfolio of fine brands. We certainly look forward to working with them to advance public policy issues affecting cigars,” commented CAA President David Ozgo in a press release.
Miami Cigar Vice President of Sales and Marketing Jason Wood said, “Miami Cigar & Company is thrilled to join the CAA. The association provides a valuable service to the cigar industry with its unparalleled network of state and Federal government relations experts. The CAA does exceptional work in protecting the rights of cigar enthusiasts nationwide and all segments of the cigar industry and we want to be part of that.”
Miami Cigar & Company is the third company to join the CAA in 2023. Earlier this year, Best Cigar Prices, an Internet Cigar Retailer, and Ash Hole Cigar Clubs, a supporting member boasting 50,000 cigar smokers, joined the CAA.

Good on them! I encourage more companies to follow this example.

Is this timing somehow related to the recent deeming regulations ruling and the fact that Tatiana is on the razors edge of regulation modification?!
Tune-in yesterday for the answer.
