At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Powstanie Cigars will launch a 5 1/2 x 46 Corona Gorda size line extension to its Powstanie Connecticut line called Justice.

The cigar is a tribute to the middle child of Powstanie co-owner Mike Szczepankiewicz. The roots of the Powstanie Connecticut go back nine years ago when Mike had the cigar blended for his son’s birth. At the time, only 100 cigars were made, and they were adorned with the name “ApolloDani” in blue and pink. Fast forward nine years later and the Powstanie Connecticut core line was created based on that blend. The Powstanie Connecticut made its debut at the 2023 PCA Trade Show in four sizes.

“When working with a factory, I highly recommend you work with a factory that actually keeps records of your blends from close to a decade ago and can recreate that blend to a T,” added Mike.

The Powstanie Connecticut Corona Gorda “Justice”  features an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper over a Pennsylvania broadleaf binder and aged Nicaraguan fillers. The production for Powstanie Connecticut comes from the Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. factory in Nicaragua. The cigars are available in 21-count boxes. Each cigar will have an MSRP of $13.50 per cigar.

Powstanie Cigars is planning on releasing the Powstanie Connecticut Corona Gorda “Justice” on April 6, in Enterprise, Alabama. The cigars will ship nationwide shortly after.

The PCA Trade Show opens on March 23, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  At a glance, here is a look at the Powstanie Connecticut:
