At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show, Warped Cigars will introduce Gellis Family Cigars. Gellis Family Cigars is a new brand from Kyle Gellis, founder of Warped Cigars. This brand is also the the latest subsidiary company under Warped Cigars.
“I have been working in the premium cigar industry for 17 years, blending cigars and developing and growing Warped since I was 18 years old,” commented Kyle Gellis in an email communication. “Along that journey, I always noticed something was missing from the portfolio of work. When I made the decision to create a brand with my family’s name on it, a new path and tradition was set.”
There are two new cigars launching from Gellis Family Cigars – each produced out of Tabacalera La Isla in the Dominican Republic. The first is Marevas. This features an Ecuadorian Habano 2000, Nicaraguan binder and a combination of Nicaraguan and Dominican filler. Presented in 25-count boxes, Marevas is a 5 1/8 x 43 vitola with a closed footer. The cigars have been aged a minimum of a one year in Spanish cedar boxes. Marevas is priced at $11.00 SRP per cigar.
The second cigar is Saunter. Presented in 12-count boxes, Saunter is a 5 1/4 x 48 Robusto. This cigar features an Ecuadorian Connecticut Deflorada wrapper. In addition, the cigar has an Ecuadorian binder and a combination of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. Like Marevas, Saunter is aged for a minimum of one year in Spanish cedar boxes. Saunter is priced at $15.00 SRP.
The 2024 PCA Trade Show opens March 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marevas has a planned ship date in April, while Saunter is planned for a summer release.
