At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Joya De Nicaragua will bring back its Joya Cabinetta Lancero for a limited run.
The Cabinetta features two wrappers – segmented on the upper and lower portions of the cigar. The lower segment features an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper. The segment by the cap features a Nicaraguan Criollo. The binder and filler consist of all Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Joya Cabinetta Lancero is a classic 7 x 38 lancero. In 2016, the Cabinetta Serie line was revamped and moved under Joya de Nicaragua’s Joya brand. At the time this occurred, the lancero size was dropped.
“At every cigar event, the question pops up: ‘What about the Cabinetta Lancero?’ We get it; there’s a certain charm to the elegance and rich experience of a great Lancero, but let’s face it – it’s a niche favorite. So, ‘by popular demand’, here it is the Cabinetta Lancero Limited Edition for 2024… and trust us, it’s better than ever!” said Juan Martinez, Executive President of Joya de Nicaragua, in a press release.
The Joya Cabinetta Serie Lancero will return with a limited run of 1,000 20-count boxes.
“Forget the usual ‘barber pole’ cigars that are all about looks. This dual-wrapper approach is not just for show – it’s a game-changer in flavor and aroma,” added company Chairman Dr. Alejandro Martinez Cuenca.
The Joya Cabinetta Lancero has a suggested retail price of $9.95 or $199.00 per box.
The PCA Trade Show opens on March 23, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
