At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Altadis U.S.A. introduced a new limited edition cigar known as the Romeo y Julieta 1875 Vintage Lote. The limited edition has been aging for six years and pays homage to the original Romeo y Julieta 1875 roots.
The name Lote is Spanish for batch. The cigars were blended by the Grupo de Maestros and rolled six years ago. Since then, they have been aging in a cedar room at the Tabacalera de Garcia factory. The Vintage Lote is limited to 4,000 ten-count boxes.
The blend features a Habana 2000 Nicaraguan wrapper over a Broadleaf binder and a combination of Dominican and Pennsylvania fillers. The Vintage Lote is available in one size – a 6 3/4 x 48 Double Corona.
Each box contains a certificate of authenticity. The Vintage Lote is priced at $15.00 SRP/cigar. The cigars are expected to ship in May.
