At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, General Cigar introduced the Cohiba Serie M Reserva Roja. This is the fourth Cohiba release made in the U.S. at the El Titan de Bronze factory, but unlike the previous three Cohiba Serie M releases, the Reserva Rioja features a new blend.
The Reserva Roja does use the same Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper as the original Serie M releases, but differs in the remainder of the blend. Reserva Roja also includes a Nicaragua Corojo binder and a combination of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. The cigar is launching in a single frontmark known as Magnum (6 1/2 x 54). The Cohiba Reserva Roja is priced at $29.99 per cigar and is packaged in ten-count boxes.
In a press release, Sean Williams, brand ambassador for Cohiba, said, “In collaboration with Sandy Cobas, we’re proud to build on the narrative of Cohiba Serie M by releasing a one-of-a-kind cigar that is equal parts timeless and unique. With Cohiba Serie M Reserva Roja, the collective expertise of El Titán de Bronze and the mastery of our Cohiba team comes to life in an artisanal blend that was created to deliver a memorable smoking experience.”
The Reserva Roja is shipping to retailers in April 2024.
