I’ve never seen a booth quite like Arturo Fuente’s at a Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, and PCA 2024 was no exception. The Fuente booth is less about showcasing new products and more about telling the story of the Fuente family. The Fuente booth is also reminiscent of the New York City Macy’s Department store windows. Additionally, the company loves to throw Easter eggs into the booth of things they have planned. While the Easter eggs were a little easier to find this year, the mystery and aura around what these Easter eggs are remain.

First up, the OpusX 25 will be released through Fuente. OpusX 25 commemorates the Fuente Fuente OpusX reaching its 25th anniversary. Initially, this cigar had a very limited release in a 7 x 50 size through some humidor offerings distributed through Elie Bleu. Fuente showed off some packaging and a new perfecto size, but isn’t saying much else. We could see these cigars in the late summer/early fall.

The planned Black Pink release was even more mysterious. We do know it’s an extension to the Rare Pink 1960s Vintage Series. Other than the packaging, Fuente has been pretty tight-lipped about the details of this release. The Rare Pink Vintage Series was a project created to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research.

Rare Pink was one of several lines featured in Arturo Fuente’s new five-count boxes. The other lines we saw with the five-count boxes included Don Carlos Eye of the Bull, Don Carlos Eye of the Shark, and the Don Carlos Personal Reserve Robusto.

If you are both a lancero and a rarities fan, the upcoming Don Carlos The Man Lancero will give you the best of both worlds. It is the rare Don Carlos The Man blend but in a lancero format.

Last year, Arturo Fuente showcased a book/cigar collection called From Dream to Dynasty. At the 2024 PCA Trade Show, the From Dream to Dynasty collection was showcased again. Priced at approximately $2,200.00, this collection consists of the book From Dream to Dynasty and 22 rare Fuente-made cigars. The book is the creation of Aaron Sigmond and Ian Spanier and published by Assouline. The 22 cigars are assembled in two volumes, each resembling a book. Each volume contains 11 cigars, all blended and curated by Carlos “Carlito” Fuente.

Arturo Fuente also said it is shipping various sizes of the Casa Fuente line nationally. Casa Fuente is a brand created as an exclusive cigar for the Casa Fuente retail store in Las Vegas. In 2021, Arturo Fuente started offering the line in small limited-release batches. Another batch is due to hit retailers following PCA 2024.

The question of “When is Fuente y Padrón Legends shipping?” has been answered for the first time since the project was announced. On the eve of the 2024 Trade Show, both companies sent a small allocation to select retailers. Both companies have stated more allocations are on the way. Arturo Fuente had the Legends cigars on display. While they were a little more low-key in showcasing this cigar, the decorations of  “confetti cannons” symbolize getting this special release out.

Regarding the mystery at the booth, apparently, something is still coming this summer. Arturo Fuente is referring people to Cigar Coop. I wish I had more details to share, but I know nothing more than this picture.
