E.P. Carrillo announced the Encore Edicion Unica I Solidarios extension to its Encore brand at PCA 2024. The Solidarios is exclusive to the international market outside the U.S.

The E.P. Carrillo Encore Edicion Unica I Solidarios is based on the original Encore blend. Produced at Casa Carrillo in the Dominican Republic, the cigar features a Nicaraguan wrapper and binder. The filler tobaccos are a combination of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. According to E.P. Carrillo, the wrapper is aged five years, while the binder and filler tobaccos are aged ten years.

The Solidarios are 56 x 6, and what’s different is that this is a rounded format as opposed to the core Encore’s box-pressed format. Casa Carrillo General Manager Jorge Fernandez Maique contributed to this project. The size is familiar to Maique as it is analogous to the Cohiba Behike BHK 56, a project he worked on while at Habanos S.A.

E.P. Carrillo has referred to this as the inaugural Edición Unica, with additional releases planned for this series.

There is a limited production of 1,500 ten-count numbered boxes currently shipping.
