Smoker Friendly Dan GallagherSmoker Friendly (The Cigarette Store LLC) has named Dan Gallagher its new President. Dan had previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Dan’s predecessor (and brother) Terry Gallagher, Jr. has served as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board since the company’s establishment in 1991. Terry will continue at Smoker Friendly in his role as CEO and Chairman of the Board.

In a press release, Terry Gallagher Jr. commented, “Dan has been instrumental in the growth of Smoker Friendly since its inception and key in establishing the great culture we have in this company. Those of you who have worked closely with Dan know he is very deserving of this role and extremely capable of leading this company. While I have been the only President of TCSC and then TCS LLC since its organization in 1991, I’m very happy to see Dan in this role.”

Dan graduated from Fort Lewis College in 1989 majoring in Business Administration, starting his professional career that same year with Best Petroleum in Boston as an area manager. He spent the following years at Gasamat Oil Corp/Smoker Friendly in managerial and supervisory roles and acted as Operations Manager at Alternative Fuels, Inc. from 1994-2002. Dan returned to Smoker Friendly as the Vice President of Operations in 2002, becoming Chief Operating Officer in 2012. Dan is also a member of the Colorado Board of Trustees for the Colorado Wyoming Petroleum Marketers and a former President of the Denver Oilmens Club.

Headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, Smoker Friendly now owns and operates 342 stores in 13 states under the Smoker Friendly, Tobacco Depot, Smoke ‘N Go, Havana Manor and Gasamat banners. In addition it owns the e-commerce site, paylesscigarsandpipes.com.
