At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show in Las Vegas, Casa 1910 Cigars introduced a new brand called Mexigars priced under $10.00. The line was inspired by the culinary traditions and flavors Mexico is known for.
There are two blends in the series; MX-1 and MX-2. MX-1 features a Negro San Andres Colorado Maduro wrapper over a Negro San Andres binder. MX-1 uses a filler blend of Negro San Andres and Habano. The MX-1 incorporates flavors such as wood, spice, and mole. Meanwhile, MX-2 features a Mexican Habano wrapper over a Negro San Andres binder. The filler of the MX-2 is a combination of Negro San Andres and Habano Mexico Especial. This blend delivers flavors of coffee and chocolate but is said not to be overly sweet.
Both the Casa 1910 Mexigars MX-1 and MX-2 come in one size—a 6 x 52 Toro. The cigars come in 25-count bundles, and cigar stores can display them in display units.
The Mexigars MX-1 and MX-2 are priced at $9.90 SRP per cigar. The cigars are targeted for a June/July 2024 release.
