Conspiracy Cigars, the brand that returns Quality Importers Trading Company back into the premium cigar business, has begun shipping.
Conspiracy Cigars are made in the Dominican Republic’s Casa Carrillo, the factory owned by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. They come in two blends: Ecuadorian Connecticut and San Andres Maduro. Each blend comes in three sizes (Robusto, Toro, and Gordo). Pricing ranges between $10.99 and $14.99.
Perhaps the most interesting feature is what Quality Importers calls its SWAGSTORM packaging option.
- The Retail repack option features a free-standing retail display to allow for single-cigar sales. This repack will include 120 cigars (20 cigars of each size and wrapper), a free Conspiracy-branded clear acrylic six-bin locking humidor display, and 120 Conspiracy-branded cigar cutters. Consumers will receive one cutter with each cigar purchased. This unit allows retailers to feature the full line of cigars without taking up excess shelf space.
- The Humidor Series is an ongoing offering. It will feature a revolving series of artwork and accessories to complement the detailed design of the Conspiracy concept. The initial 20-cigar offering is packed in a Humidor Supreme 20-count Traveler humidor featuring SureSeal Technology. The package also includes a humidification device and a Conspiracy-branded Xikar Xi2 cutter.
- Finally, there is the limited edition Factum Series. Limited to 900 units, each Factum unit features ten cigars plus a Conspiracy-branded Palió V-Cutter packaged in a Mahogany chest with magnetic closures or a travel humidor. The units have custom Conspiracy artwork on the inside and outside of the box.
Quality Importers says that distribution for Conspiracy will be by City of Palms Cigar Distributors except in Florida and Pennsylvania.
