El Tequileño has announced the debut of its latest limited-edition Añejo Gran Reserva iteration. The tequila has already hit the market.
Under the guidance of third-generation Master Distiller Tony Salles, this new batch is blended with a one-year-old Añejo and two- and four-year-old Extra Añejos, which are aged in American and French Oak barrels. Every batch of El Tequileño Añejo Gran Reserva is made using different types of barrels, primarily ex-Bourbon American and Chardonnay French. El Tequileño says the combination explores a new flavor profile and pushes the boundaries of its existing tasting notes.
The Añejo Gran Reserva suggests a retail price of $99.99 (750ml).
