Carrillo Endure

E.P. Carrillo has formally announced the Endure. Endure kicks off what will be the first installment of the Perez-Carrillo Premier Collection. This cigar features a Meerapfel Cameroon wrapper. Reports of the Endure line first surfaced at InterTabac 2024.

“Creating Endure was a journey of passion and persistence,” said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo in a statement posted on social media. “This blend honors our shared histories and stands as a tribute to resilience and triumph.”

Endure will be the first release from E.P. Carrillo to feature a Cameroon wrapper. Earlier this year, it was announced that the E.P. Carrillo Essence Series would include a Cameroon offering. It turns out that Endure beat it to the table.

Outside the Cameroon wrapper, Endure is entirely Nicaraguan. The filler leaves include secos from Condega, viso from Estelí and ligero from Jalapa and Condega. It has two binders, one Habano and the other Criollo ’98, both grown in Nicaragua. Production comes from Casa Carrillo in the Dominican Republic.

Endure is being released in Robusto (5 x 52, $18.00 SRP/cigar) and Toro (6 x 52, $20.00 SRP/cigar) sizes first – each presented in 10-count boxes. A Corona Gordo size will follow. Shipping begins in late January.
